# Verifying and correcting results

### Quick checklist

* [ ] I opened **View Results**
* [ ] I checked each finding against the photo (full-size)
* [ ] I **approved** correct findings
* [ ] I **edited** any wrong details (part/location etc.)
* [ ] I reviewed **Stage 2** (what will be included in the final report)
* [ ] I added any damage that wasn't noted
* [ ] I submitted using **Finish – send my scan** only when happy

### 1) Open your results

1. Select **View Results** to open the completed scan findings.

### 2) Verify each finding using the photo

For each finding:

1. Select the **thumbnail** to enlarge the photo.
2. Check the highlighted area and confirm the damage is genuinely present.

Always verify using the enlarged image. Small thumbnails can hide detail.

### 3) Approve/Delete findings

If the detected surface damage is present:

1. Select **Approve**.
2. Select ✅  to mark it as correct so it’s included in the report. 

If the detected surface damage is a false detection:

1. Select **Delete**.
2. Select ❌  to mark it as incorrect so it’s not included in the report.

### 4) Move to Stage 2 (add or edit damage)

1. Select **Continue to Stage 2** to finalise the report.
2. You can edit the decription of approved damage (See point 5)
3. You can add any missed damage (this is important to get an accurate report)

### 5) Edit details if something needs refining

If a detail needs correcting (for example, the part name, severity or the location):

1. Select the **Edit** icon.
2. Choose **Edit** to update the damage entry.

Take your time here — these details determine how the finding appears in the report. The report will recalculate any changes you make.

### 6) Add missed damage

If a imperfection has been missed should add it.

### 7) Submit the final report

When you are satisfied that the report is a true and honest reflection of the vehicle condition:

1. Select **Finish – send my scan**.
2. Confirm **Yes, submit scan!** to lock in the report and send it for processing.
