# BVRLA Return Ready

### Using BVRLA Return Ready?

Return Ready is a free service provided by the BVRLA to help you understand the condition of your vehicle before it goes back.

It is a private tool. When you complete your check, the results belong to you. The BVRLA do not see them, and they are not sent to your mobility provider or anyone else unless you choose to share them yourself.

***

#### What the results show

Return Ready shows you each item of damage alongside the relevant BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear guidance — so you can see whether what you've recorded is likely to be considered acceptable wear, or something that goes beyond that.

There are no repair cost estimates in your results. The tool is designed to help you understand and prepare, not to price the outcome.

#### One thing to look out for

When you reach the end of the verification stage, the guide refers to a button called **Finish – send my scan**. In Return Ready, this button is labelled **Finish and complete**. Everything else in the guide applies as normal.

***

#### Now follow the main guide

Everything from here — preparing your vehicle, the scan process, capturing damage, and verifying your results — works exactly the same way. Start with Before you scan when you're ready.
